Our clothes are well taken care of, and you will look your best in them. We will only rent you clothes that are clean and looked after, that we, or our children would wear.
Terms of Rental
We require payment for the rental in advance. We can take payments with Paypal, Venmo, Credit Card, Cash and Cheque.
We rent clothes on a per event basis. So if you have an event on the coming Saturday, we will try to give you the clothes at least 3 days in advance of the event so that you have time to try them out, make adjustments etc.
We try to make sure that we do not rent the same costumes to other parties for the same event. We do not want a situation that some other dance group is wearing the same costumes that you have rented. If you tell us the date and the event, we will ensure that we do not rent the same costumes to any other person for that event.
We recommend you reserve the costumes you desire by paying for the rental term up-front. We cannot guarantee availability of costumes unless they have been booked and paid for in advance.
We will do our best to give you a size that you would like. We have set sizes and it is possible that the size you desire is not available. You can make some adjustments to the costumes yourselves with pins, and light stitching at the seams of the clothes. We will inform you of the sizes available at the time of rental.
Use of product: Please return the clothes in the same condition as you received them. Please let us know before the event if you find something that is not right and we will do our best efforts to remedy it.
Do not apply any perfume to the clothes. We will charge an additional cleaning fee if the clothes have the smell of perfume on them.
In case of any damage to the clothes, we will review the damage with you. In the extreme case that the damage is so severe that the clothes will need to be replaced we will charge you a replacement fee that is 4X the rental for that costume.
You are responsible for Loss, Destruction or damage to the product due to theft, mysterious disappearance, fire, major stains or any other causes other than normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear includes minor stains, rips, missing beads, stuck zippers or other minor damage.
You may extend your rental for a future event by telling us and paying for the rental as soon as you are aware of it. We cannot guarantee the availability of the costumes for a future event, as it may have been rented to somebody else for that future date.
You must return/ship the costumes to us by the next day after your event. Any delays in return may result in us charging you additional rental charges as the costumes will not be available for us to rent them to other parties.
You may cancel your rental order 7 days in advance of your event for a full refund. There is no refund for cancellations received in less than 7 days.
At any point if the costumes do not meet your standards and you do not want to use them, we will give you a full refund (less any shipping costs). Please make sure you communicate this and send the clothes back before your event date.
If you would like the costumes shipped to you, you will bear the cost of shipping to and from your address. We request that you give us a secure shipping address, where somebody will be able to sign receipt of delivery. We ship all our costumes with delivery signature required. In case you give us an unsecure shipping address, you take the liability for products left unattended.
Our liability is limited only to the amount that you have paid for the rental.

IN NO EVENT SHALL Nikki’s costume creations (OR ITS SUPPLIERS OR LICENSORS) BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, MULTIPLE OR OTHER INDIRECT DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR LOSS OF USE DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF THE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES RELATED THERETO, WHETHER BASED UPON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF Nikki’s Costume Creations HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR LOSSES.
- Limited Direct Damages. Nikki’s Costume Creations (AND ITS SUPPLIERS’ AND LICENSORS’) AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES RELATED THERETO, WHETHER BASED UPON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE APPLICABLE RENTAL FEES PAID BY YOU FOR THE APPLICABLE PRODUCT AND/OR SERVICE.
- Use of Results at Your Risk. YOU ASSUME SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU AND/OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE PRODUCTS DURING YOUR RENTAL PERIOD.
