A boy’s Garba costume includes a traditional Kediya and Churidar combination. The Kediya is a flared, long-sleeved tunic/top. Of course it has bright colors, mirror work, embroidery, and intricate patterns, that stand out to complement the female Chaniya Choli costume. The flared design of the Kediyu allows for ease of movement during Garba dances. It’s paired with a Churidar or sometimes a dhoti. The clothes are designed to look great, and give you the freedom for the Jumps, Twirls and Energy of the dance.
The way my husband says it…”Hum bhi kabaddi Khelenge!” and is always willing to dress up and dance with me!
